Gamesuperchampion : Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Gets Song Written by Avenged Sevenfold

Metal band Avenged Sevenfold, whose songs (and even likenesses) have appeared in past Call of Duty games, is again working with Activision on the shooter series. Developer Treyarch this week that the group has written a “unique” instrumental song for .

The track, called “Jade Helm,” will play during some parts of Black Ops III multiplayer. In addition, you’ll hear the song through the in-game music player located in the Safe House in campaign mode. Unfortunately, the track has not been released, but we’ll have that for you when it is.

Jade Helm 15 was a series of United States military exercises conducted this past summer in which armed forces conducted drills on private property, military bases, and even some public facilities. According to , some feared that this was actually a secret attempt by the Obama administration to impose martial law, among other things. Whatever the case, Jade Helm will presumably be referenced in Black Ops III, if the name of the track is anything to go by.

As noted, this is not the first time Avenged Sevenfold has worked with Treyarch. The band through in 2012. That game also featured an in-game concert in which the band performed the song. It was pretty weird/cool. Watch the video below.
