‘s upcoming downloadable content updates will introduce a new map set on Tatooine and new outfits for Luke and Leia, according to a video posted by EA Brasil.
According to a translation of the video by , the content will be free and is not considered to be part of the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass, which means it will be available to everyone.
EA’s other regions have not yet officially announced the new map or costumes.
The publisher has previously confirmed at least four expansion packs are coming to Battlefront, the. These will deliver the following content:
- Over 20 new items, including weapons, vehicles, and Star Cards for both Rebels and Imperials.
- 4 additional Heroes and Villains.
- 16 new multiplayer maps featuring “new locations.”
- 4 new game modes.
These expansions will included in the Battlefront DLC pass, which costs $50 and grants two-week early access to the content. Unfortunately, developer DICE in future Battlefront add-ons.
In November 2015, became the “largest digital launch” in EA’s history and the “biggest launch” of any new Star Wars game ever released. EA Studios executive Patrick Soderlund said at the time that players can look forward to “lots of new content” in the coming months.
