Arda Turan is living the dream at Barcelona and has no intention of leaving the club anytime soon, which is likely to disappoint Mancheter United.
It has been suggested the Red Devils’ new boss Jose Mourinho had been keeping tabs on the Turkey international, who struggled to recapture the form which saw him seal a transfer to the Nou Camp from Atletico Madrid last summer.
A transfer ban slapped on the Catalan club did not help the 29-year-old’s cause as he was ineligible to play until January, but in the months which followed the midfielder scored just twice and laid on only four assists for the La Liga champions.
Speculation boss Luis Enrique is willing to part with the player was beginning to grow and The Sun claimed United would be more than willing suitors.
But speaking ahead of Turkey’s Euro 2016 clash with Turkey, which takes place later today, however, Turan put paid to such theories.
‘I’m very happy at Barcelona and I don’t want to leave,’ he said.
‘Barcelona was my dream and now I’m living this dream.’
