It’s time for Noblegarden–a hunt for loot, this time in the form of brightly colored eggs! We join together to "share the joy of life and friendship" all the while looking for carefully hidden eggs and devouring tons of chocolate!
Noblegarden starts on March 28 at 11:00 AM and ends on April 4 at 11:00 AM. Brightly Colored Eggs have been hidden all across the starting areas for both Alliance and Horde players to discover. These eggs can contain chocolates which serve as a currency to buy seasonal goodies–sometimes they also have special prizes! Simply head out to one of your faction’s starting areas, grab some quests, and get out there and hunt eggs. Maybe you’ll even earn some achievements along the way!
New to 2015 is the Mystical Spring Bouquet, a non-combat vanity pet that costs 100 Noblegarden Chocolate. There’s also Poorly-Painted Egg which is sold by Noblegarden vendors for . This lets you place an egg on the ground which sells for a small amount of gold (Poorly-Painted Egg). There are other more expensive versions: Intricately-Painted Egg costs and contains Intricately-Painted Egg, Magnificently-Painted Egg costs and contains Magnificently-Painted Egg. You wouldn’t want to loot your own eggs, but these eggs could make a lovely egg hunt for your guild.
Hunting for Eggs
Brightly Colored Eggs
Players will be scurrying to hunt down Brightly Colored Eggs that spawn hidden in the starting areas of Azeroth:
- Alliance: Azure Watch on Azuremyst Isle, Dolanaar in Teldrassil, Goldshire outside Stormwind City, and Kharanos in Dun Morogh.
- Horde: Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore, Brill in Tirisfal Glades, Falconwing Square in Eversong Woods, and Razor Hill in Durotar
Eggs can be found only in the starting areas. They may be crowded, but here are some tips to making your egg-hunting go smoothly:
- Set your Environmental Detail and Ground Clutter settings down low, and zoom out. This will help you see eggs spawn before environmental objects like bushes or crates do.
- Play around with camera angles–this will help you click on eggs even if you can’t see them.
- Grab speed boosts so you can zip around between spawn points faster.
- Azure Watch is considered to be the best place for the Alliance due to the frequency of spawn points and the out of the way location. Get to the Exodar by taking a Mage Portal, or the portal or boat from Darnassus.
- Falconwing Square is considered to be the best place for the Horde due to its straightforward layout. Get to Silvermoon by taking a Mage Portal, or the portal from the Undercity.
Opening the eggs contains Noblegarden Chocolate which is used to purchase many Noblegarden goodies (see section below). You can also obtain these vanity items straight from the eggs, which can save you Noblegarden Chocolate.
In the process of looting eggs, you can turn into Noblegarden Bunny, which is needed for Hard Boiled. More details in the Achievements section of the guide.
In 2015, you can help organize your own egg hunt with eggs from Noblegarden Vendors:
- Poorly-Painted Egg costs . When looted, contains Poorly-Painted Egg which vendors for .
- Intricately-Painted Egg costs . When looted, contains Intricately-Painted Egg which vendors for .
- Magnificently-Painted Egg costs . When looted, contains Magnificently-Painted Egg which vendors for .
All of these eggs, when placed on the ground, look like the same Painted Egg. You cannot tell which egg contains the pricey .
A fun idea for an in-game event is for one player to hide all the eggs, invite friends to find them, and whoever finds the egg containing first wins the egg hunt.
If you are making your own egg hunt, you can carry up to 20 Poorly-Painted Egg, 5 Intricately-Painted Egg, and 1 Magnificently-Painted Egg in your bags at once.
While not technically collectible eggs, Ji-Kun’s eggs resemble Brightly Colored Eggs this week too. Ji-Kun is the 6th boss in Throne of Thunder and can drop Clutch of Ji-Kun on Normal or Heroic difficulty.
Noblegarden features a small assortment of festive items which can be purchased from a Noblegarden Vendor or Noblegarden Merchant (found in one of your faction’s starting towns) in exchange for Noblegarden Chocolate. Or, you may get lucky and find one or more of these items while you’re out hopping around for eggs!
Here are the items you can buy with Noblegarden Chocolates:
White Tuxedo Shirt
Black Tuxedo Pants
Spring Rabbit’s Foot
Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit
New to 2012Swift Springstrider
New to 2012Black Spring Circlet
New to 2012Pink Spring Circlet
New to 2015Mystical Spring Bouquet
Please note that unfortunately your Mage will have to be at least level 60 to purchase Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit.
The main item players will be collecting from the Brightly Colored Egg are used as currency for all Noblegarden vanity items: Noblegarden Chocolate.
- These will be in nearly every egg. Sometimes, instead of chocolate, an egg will contain an item such as Spring Rabbit’s Foot.
- This means it’s generally best to keep farming the eggs until you have enough chocolates to buy every item you want from the vendors, just in case you get lucky and get a valuable item or two while collecting eggs.
- You should also expect to collect a lot of them; they are not only a currency used to purchase items from Noblegarden vendors, there are also achievements for actually consuming quantities of the chocolates.
In order to purchase all of the items available from the Noblegarden vendors (excluding the mage-only book) you will need a total of 1065 Noblegarden Chocolate. You will need an additional 100 Noblegarden Chocolate to complete the two chocolate-consuming related achievements, and 10 Noblegarden Chocolate to complete A Tisket, a Tasket, a Noblegarden Basket so estimate that you should collect at least 1175 Noblegarden Chocolates if you want everything.
If you just want to get Noble Gardener done and don’t care about the additional vanity items, you’ll need much fewer eggs. You’ll just need 215 total.
It is important to remember that you have a chance to find nearly all of the items required for achievements contained in Brightly Colored Egg, with the exception of the Noblegarden Egg required for Noble Garden (Alliance Version). The White Tuxedo Shirt, Black Tuxedo Pants, Spring Robes, Spring Flowers and Spring Rabbit’s Foot can all be found inside Brightly Colored Egg and the Blossoming Branch is available as a reward from the daily quest The Great Egg Hunt (Alliance version). This brings the total number of Noblegarden Chocolate required down to 105!
Mounts and Pets
Spring Rabbit’s Foot summons a battle pet, Spring Rabbit. This pet comes in Breed 5 (Speed) and starts off as an uncommon-quality Critter. It has the following abilities:
- Scratch (1), Adrenaline Rush (2), Burrow (4), Flurry (10), Dodge (15), Stampede (20)
New to 2015 is the Mystical Spring Bouquet. This is a non-combat pet, so you can summon it but it cannot fight in pet battles. It resembles a cute plant.
The following chart shows what percentage of Wowhead users with Profiles have collected each pet:
The Swift Springstrider summons a white strider mount. Other strider mounts are Swift Shorestrider, Swift Forest Strider, and Swift Lovebird. This mount can be sold on the AH if you have extra chocolates and want to spend them on something.
The following chart shows what percentage of Wowhead users with Profiles have collected the mount:
Many World Events have obtainable toys, but Noblegarden does not have anything new for your Toy Box.
While the following items are not transmoggable, they look great in lighthearted screenshots and are perfect for bank alts.
- Helms: Spring Circlet, Black Spring Circlet, Pink Spring Circlet

Once you’ve got the chocolates, turn them in and you will be rewarded with a Egg Basket which you can use for a temporary speed boost in any of the starting zones that Brightly Colored Eggs can be found. This item has only a ten second cooldown.
The basket that is rewarded is exactly the same as the one you are provided with for the quest. Unless you have extra chocolates, you should probably not complete the quest.
This achievement can be found in the main World Events achievement category and is awarded upon completion of every one of the Noblegarden achievements except Dressed For The Occasion and Sunday’s Finest. This achievement awards the player title the Noble and is a requirement towards completion of What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been which rewards the beautiful Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake.
Noble Gardener Achievements
- Blushing Bride
Kiss someone wearing an Elegant Dress while wearing a White Tuxedo Shirt and Black Tuxedo Pants.
These clothes can be found randomly in a Brightly Colored Egg or purchased from a vendor in exchange for 50 Noblegarden Chocolate (shirt and pants are 25 each). Note that the achievement is only awarded to the player wearing the Tuxedo set (and that this Tuxedo set is different than the tailor-crafted set), so in order to complete the achievement you will have to purchase the White Tuxedo Shirt and Black Tuxedo Pants yourself while another player can have the Elegant Dress. Since these items are not bind on pickup, however, you can opt to simply trade clothes with a friend and take turns getting the achievement.
- Chocolate Lover
Eat 25 Noblegarden Chocolate during the Noblegarden celebration.
For this achievement you must eat 25 Noblegarden Chocolate discovered inside Brightly Colored Eggs. Make sure you still save enough to buy goodies from the vendor!
Eat 100 Noblegarden Chocolate during the Noblegarden celebration.
For this achievement you must eat 100 Noblegarden Chocolate discovered inside Brightly Colored Egg. Since this is a meta achievement, you only need an additional 75 Noblegarden Chocolate after the first 25 you consumed for Chocolate Lover. Once again, make sure you collect enough chocolates to nab this achievement and still be able to buy goodies from the vendor!
- Desert Rose
Use Spring Robes to plant a flower in each of the deserts listed below.
For this achievement, you must first obtain the Spring Robes either from a Brightly Colored Egg or purchased from a vendor for 50 Noblegarden Chocolate. Simply equip the robes and you can activate it’s ‘Use’ ability, which in this case plants a flower where you stand! Once you’ve got the robes on, simply travel to each of these five zones and plant a flower. You don’t need to be in the desert-looking area of a zone, anywhere in the zone will do:
Badlands (central Eastern Kingdoms – take Ironforge or Twilight Highlands portal, fly southeast)
- Desolace (central Kalimdor – take Hyjal portal, fly southwest)
- Silithus (southern Kalimdor – take Uldum portal from capital city, fly northwest)
- Tanaris (southern Kalimdor – take Uldum portal from capital city, fly east)
- Thousand Needles (southern Kalimdor – take Uldum portal from capital city, fly northeast)
Lay an egg in Un’Goro Crater’s Golakka Hot Springs as a rabbit during the Noblegarden celebration.
For this achievement you must lay an egg in the Golakka Hot Springs of Un’Goro Crater while polymorphed into a Noblegarden Bunny. There are two different ways to become a Noblegarden Bunny.
The easy way is to have another player travel with you and use a Blossoming Branch to change you into a rabbit. Simply stand around long enough and eventually your rabbit will lay an egg–voila, achievement done. The more complicated way is to open Brightly Colored Eggs until you are randomly transformed into a Noblegarden Bunny. Then, good luck getting to Un’goro. The most logical way to get there (assuming a level 90 character who isn’t an engineer):
- 1. Get transformed into a rabbit.
- 2. Hearth to Marshal’s Stand in Un’Goro Crater.
- 4. Run west across Un’Goro Crater to the Golakka Hot Springs (approximately 33, 49)–praying not to get in combat because damage will break the disguise.
- 5. Sit anywhere at the Golakka Hot Springs for a few seconds, until you lay an egg.
Obviously, the method stated first is much, much easier and way more practical!
I Found One!
Find a Brightly Colored Egg.
For this achievement you must simply loot a Brightly Colored Egg from inside a Brightly Colored Egg, found in any starting zone in Azeroth.
Noble Garden or Noble Garden
For this achievement you must hide a Noblegarden Egg anywhere in Silvermoon City (if you’re Horde) or Stormwind City (if you’re Alliance). These eggs can be purchased from the Noblegarden vendors for 5 Noblegarden Chocolate, and you can then loot the egg yourself to get a Noblegarden Chocolate back (and maybe something else)!
Shake Your Bunny-Maker
Use Spring Flowers to place rabbit ears upon females of at least 18th level.
For this achievement you must use Spring Flowers to place bunny ears on a female of each race that is level 18 or higher. Spring Flowers can be purchased from a Noblegarden vendor for 50 Noblegarden Chocolate or may be randomly looted from a Brightly Colored Egg. While finding females of every race may not be very difficult, the item has a 5 minute cooldown.
This user-submitted macro can help you determine if you need the target for the achievement or not:
/run local a,n,r,c,x=2422 for i=1,GetAchievementNumCriteria(a)do n,r,_,c=UnitName("target"),GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(a,i)if n and not c and UnitRace("target")==r then print(n,"is"..(UnitSex("target")~=3 and " NOT"or"").." female!")end end
Spring Fling or Spring Fling
Find your pet Spring Rabbit another one to love in each of the towns listed below.
This achievement requires that you have first obtained the Spring Rabbit’s Foot, either by looting it randomly from a Brightly Colored Egg or purchasing it from a Noblegarden vendor for 100 Noblegarden Chocolate or buying it on the AH. Once you have done that, head out to each of the four starting areas for your faction and find another player with a Spring Rabbit. After a few moments of the rabbits noticing each other, the magic will happen! No spoilers, but ha ha, "like rabbits" and all that – let’s keep things PG-13 and pretend we’re all mature enough to simply have a chuckle at Blizzard’s little joke. Anyway, do this at all four starting areas and you’re done!
Alliance starting areas: Azure Watch on Azuremyst Isle, Dolanaar in Teldrassil, Goldshire outside Stormwind City, and Kharanos in Dun Morogh.
Horde starting areas: Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore, Brill in Tirisfal Glades, Falconwing Square in Eversong Woods, and Razor Hill in Durotar
These achievements reward 10 points but are not needed for the Noble Gardener meta achievement.
